Many of today's most pressing issues have been tackled before in other parts of the state, country and world. How did others respond when faced with adversity? What did they discover from the experience? How did they move forward? We can all learn so much from hearing how other people and communities responded to the problems of our time. We just need to still ourselves, listen and ask, "Would that work here?" Our thought leaders will share their stories and start the conversation. Join us.

TEDxCartersville is an annual event celebrating the innovation, creativity, and inspiration found within Southern communities. We are a group of thought leaders who bring people together to share ideas and experiences with the goal of transforming the state of our region and beyond. Our speakers have something to say. We give them a platform to share their ideas and engage with a group of receptive listeners from all different backgrounds.

As for our audience, TEDxCartersville attendees are life-long learners, scientists, innovators, explorers, activists, visionaries, community leaders, students and intellectually curious individuals.

We believe in the power of the ripple effect and hope that the members of our TEDxCartersville audience will take what they learn on August 20, 2022 back to their own communities and use it as a springboard to make positive change.
